Purple Haze Pub & Lounge Bar
The Purple Haze pub and lounge bar has been designed to create a heady mix of colour and glitz. There are multiple artworks in and around the pub that creates this ambience .		THE DESIGN Taking cue from this Jimi Hendrix classic all artworks are designed on the theme of "Purple Haze".The exterior wall is a colour blocked graphic artwork with interesting use of typography and elements like spirals and pop art, which is contemporary to the Jimi Hendrix rock era. The wall is made interactive by incorporating a photo option which allows clients to get photographed and carry memories from one of the iconic pubs in Bangalore. The ceiling installation in the interior of the bar depicts the wheels of time. The wheels made of empty beer bottles resemble the gears of the clock. The planar differences in the wheels give them a scope of movement. A continuation of this story, the artwork on the wall reads, "the story of life is quicker than a blink of an eye". The play of circles on black background does complete justice to the tag of the pub. The circles are done in reflective finish adding volume to the space.
