LOCATION – Cafeteria, Biocon Park, Bangalore THEME – THE STORY OF CELLS – Communication and Balance MATERIAL- Metal, Di-choric Acrylic size - 40ft x 20ft x 40ft		THE DESIGN The BIOCON logo has been artistically interpreted as cells that are in communication with each other. This interpretation has been rendered as a ceiling suspended art installation in the atrium.The artwork with its scale and colour changing hues anchors the theme to the space. It is created with dichroic acrylic which mesmerizes and lends a sense of Vibrance, transparency, and lightness to the cafeteria. Each of the hollow spheres houses a delicately balanced set of brightly coloured cell parts which are kinetic and free moving within the sphere representing the microcosm, while the earth imitating shape of the sphere represents the macrocosm. The cells are connected to each other with DNA-like strands and proteins alluding to “The central dogma of life”.
